1. Kidnapped: Credits page
It’s weird, I’ve just launched the first story of a new project that I’ve been working on for the past year (it’s actually been slightly longer but who’s counting) but I don’t have much to say that isn’t just I made a comic.
I guess I’m old fashioned but I feel the work should stand by itself without caveats or explanations. I could do some kind of writer’s notes. You know, a real close reading of the themes and shit but honestly I think that might be getting a little ahead of myself. Maybe once the project wraps I’ll do a write up but until then, like I said, I don’t really have anything to say other than, again, I made a comic.
What I can say however is that Fabio killed it on the art. Just look at those pages and tell me he isn’t something special. You can check out his work on his deviantart page or follow him on twitter @FabioFsgu.
Lettering is handled by Eisner and Harvey award nominated Rachel Deering. She’s done logo work for and lettered a bunch of stuff for Dark Circle Comics as well as lettering Sam Humphries and Tommy Patterson’s Citizen Jack and a bunch of other projects.
In other news I just bought my tickets for Thought Bubble (the best convention in the UK). I’m not tabling this year but I might try and run off a few prints to give away and you can probably find me in the pub at some point.
